About Alex, BCBA, LBA

With 16 years of experience in the field, I am a dedicated professional specializing in working with children with autism and those facing challenges with emotional regulation. Holding certifications as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in New York, and a certified special education teacher, I bring a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise to my work.

As a leader in educational settings, I am deeply committed to creating personalized, evidence-based solutions that foster growth, independence, and emotional well-being. My modern, person-centered approach to behavioral interventions is built on the belief that every individual deserves respect and compassion, with interventions tailored to meet the unique needs of each child.

At Lewis ABA - Applied Behavior Analysis, we use the science of ABA to create meaningful, lasting change for children and their families. ABA is an evidence-based approach that helps us understand behavior, teach essential skills, and improve quality of life. Whether we’re working on communication, emotional regulation, social skills, or independence, every strategy is tailored to meet the unique needs of each child.

Assessments & 1:1 Therapy

Using systematic observation and data collection, I assess the environmental factors that influence behavior. These assessments are analyzed to create individualized plans that target specific goals, whether it’s improving social skills, reducing impeding behaviors, or increasing independence. By conducting thorough, evidence-based assessments, I ensure that each child receives the most effective 1:1 therapy for success in the home, school, and community settings.

Whether it’s managing classroom behavior, developing individualized support plans, or training staff in effective interventions, my goal is to enhance the overall educational experience for every student.
